Black Science Fiction welcomes you to an evening of Black sonic futurism, exploring a genre-bending, multi-format performance composed by contemporary jazz musicians. Black Science Fiction has previously worked with free jazz artists, composers, beat makers, noise, and electronic musicians like amani, BSTFRND, Aquiles Navarro, Contour, duendita, keiyaA, JWords, Matthew Jamal, and more. Black Science Fiction’s mission is to invest in and sustain an ever-evolving conversation around Black culture and imagination. In order to facilitate this community conversation, Black Science Fiction creates spaces orientated around Black futures where music can be celebrated, workshopped, and discussed.
